“Modern Couture" Daniela De Jesus By Benjamin Kanarek For Elle Vietnam October 2014
A late entry for the Game of Thrones prompt on sketch_dailies.
I really hate doing likenesses and much prefer to come up with my own designs for literary characters; but this prompt was to coincide with the season four finale so I thought it best to try my hand at drawing the visages of the ever-lovely Natalie Dormer and Sophie Turner.
Here are Margaery and Sansa hawking, a scene from the books that did not make it to the show.
Friedrich Gauermann (Austrian, 1807–1862), Baumstudie [Tree study], 1826. Oil on panel, 43 x 33.7 cm.
"Facing your fears robs them of their power."
Mark Burnett (via observando)
"Stars are not small or gentle.
They are writhing and dying and burning.
They are not here to be pretty.
I am trying to learn from them."
